Description
Rectangular hinged locket with 2 keepers on the back, commemorating the centenary of Georges dept store 1880-1980. Representation of front of Melbourne store etched on front surface. Isnside etching of St George & the Dragon over a banner with a Latin inscription. On back surface, etched "Vive Le Roi" (Long Live the King) & the words "sterling Silver". Contained in a chamois draw-string pouch which also has a folded paper with typed history of jewellery designer, Robert Clarc.
