Description
Cream cotton material partly sewn to form a waist petticoat. Deep (28cm) decorative section at base, comprising a band of 3 pin-tucks, a section of cream insertion lace, a narrow band of Broderie Anglaise insertion, a section of cream lace, another of pin-tucks and finished with a wide scalloped edged lace border. Part of waist edge has hand sewn running stitch and a dart was marked with a rusty pin (now removed by cataloguer).
