Sealing sheet ink "In the River Bed / Sunbury / by T.F. Levick / purchased by / C.W. Steiner 1920 (approx) / 25th October 1969 / Thomas Fisher Levick. Born 1864. Died 25.7.45. Age 81 years. He was educated at the Sheffield School of Arts and came to Castlemaine in 1887 as the First Art Master of the Castlemaine School of Mines, which was later called the Castlemaine Technical School. He spent 10 years in Castlemaine, and then left to become the Head of the Art Department at the Woeking Men's College, which later became the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. After his retirement, he resided at Kyneton until his death."
