Description
Wooden box with hinged lid containing 69 rubber stamps on wooden handles and one ink pad in a tin box. The stamps include a near complete set of letters of the alphabet, numbers, punctuation and words. Box has four-and-a-half compartments. Lid has broken front clasp and two original hinges one of which is broken and has been supplemented with a more modern hinge screwed roughly to the box. Inside the lid is the remains of a paper label with instructions and list of contents.|Metal box has dried ink pad inside and is labelled "Sstephens' endorsing Ink Pad No.294 for rubber stamps".
